Jake Clifford is a Raleigh-based entrepreneur with a passion for social ventures and business innovation. He has founded multiple startups and served on the board of two 501(c)(3) organizations. Jake’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2012 with his first social venture, and since then, he has gained expertise in digital consulting, social media, eCommerce, web design, and automation systems. His diverse experience has shaped his approach to leadership and innovation. 

As co-founder of Wake Aquatic Partners, Jake has successfully integrated advanced technology solutions into the pool space, enhancing operational efficiency and safety standards across a wide range of clients. Before launching Wake Aquatic Partners in 2021, Jake spent over seven years as a Lifeguard Manager, overseeing daily operations at a facility that served over 1,000 guests a day. This experience honed his leadership and reinforced his commitment to guest safety and service excellence.

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Management and Commercial Real Estate, Jake brings strategic planning and operational know-how to his role. His hands-on leadership continues to drive Wake Aquatic Partners’ mission of “setting the standard” in pool management services, building lasting community partnerships rooted in quality and attention to detail.
